KHNP CEO Hwang Joo-ho Visits Partner Company E2S, Pledges "Close Communication"
Hwang Joo-ho, CEO of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), visited the partner company 'E2S' on the 28th and pledged, "We will continue to communicate and cooperate closely with companies in the nuclear power industry." CEO Hwang made these remarks during his visit to the E2S headquarters located in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. This visit was organized as his first communication-focused outreach of the year.
Founded in 1993, E2S is a small-to-medium enterprise (SME) specializing in the production of digital excitation systems for generators. The company possesses top-tier proprietary technologies for control systems in nuclear and hydroelectric power plants.
During the visit, CEO Hwang inspected the production site for simulation equipment, including E2S's core technologies such as design expertise for high-capacity generator excitation systems and controllers for nuclear Control Rod Control System (CRCS) power cabinets.
Following the inspection, he provided a variety of food through a visiting food truck and held a communication session with employees to listen to their on-site challenges, sharing KHNP’s plans for future customized support.
CEO Hwang emphasized, "Continuous research and development of related equipment are essential for the safety and stable output control of nuclear power plants, making active cooperation with E2S necessary. We will continue to communicate and cooperate closely with nuclear industry firms to ensure even safer nuclear power plant operations."
